Imagine awakening in a mysterious castle and you find yourself needing to escape the confines of your prison well that is the basic plot of this game and it may sound very basic but it is far from this. The game require gamers to negotiate there way around this castle whilst completing and solving various puzzles and tasks which will ultimately lead you to the exit and your freedom.

We found the concept of Awakening the Dreamless Castle to be great and very innovative but after playing the game for quite some time we found so many holes in the story line that it became apparent that every aspect of this game has not been thought of. The puzzles within the game are very good. The graphics within the game are ok but nothing special and the game play can become quite confusing if you are not totally in depth with this type of game.

Gungnir Game Review

This all new tactical role play and puzzle game from the team at Atlus games is a very interesting title that we thought was completely revolutionary when we first got to play it. There have been so many games like Gungnir that have been very disappointing on inspection, however we are glad to tell you we were very wrong and are now extremely glad we did review the game.

There is so much involved in this game that it makes other from this genre look like the age old block games we were used to in the late eighties. The game has brilliant graphics even though it is available for the PSP and has a brilliant amount of game play options for players to choose from. The missions within the game are not for the faint hearted as they take a great deal of effort and skill to negotiate which in turn offers a great sense of achievement when you indeed complete the levels.

All in all we have to say we loved this game even though it does have a few drawbacks but they don’t really affect the game as a whole.

We have seen some really interesting games for the PC platform in recent times but none more so than this all new game named Krater from Fatshark Games as it offers so much for such a small price and is great value throughout. The game is set in post apocalyptic Sweden and is a role play game with an overview of the whole game that has been influenced by games such as Dungeon Siege which was a great hit itself.

The game requires gamers to work their way around many different levels whilst positioning their forces at strategic points across the country. You will need to be at the top of your game to solve many of the puzzles and mysteries that you will find in the game is we found them to be quite hard and provided us with a stern challenge. Graphically the game is nothing special and if we are honest it could have been made much better if the time had been taken to do so.

Heavy Rain Game Review

It has been a long time since we have had the chance to review a good thriller and in Heavy Rain we have found a game that takes this style of game to whole new levels as this ambitious game for the Playstation 3 is like nothing we have seen before. The game takes place in a creepy and eerie world you are thrust into the middle of one of the most exciting detective dramas you will ever experience which is filled with intense scenes and tasks throughout the game.

Players will need to use all of the clues as well as their skills to unravel the mystery that you have been employed to solve but the deeper you go the more clear it becomes to you that this is no simple case. We found this game to be very challenging as many of its features and puzzles can really take it out of your brain as you try and piece together all the clues you find. The graphics within the game could not be considered the best we have ever seen but they are just about right from this type of game as they do not take away from the unique story line which makes this game so good.

We found the game play to be very easy to get to grips with but if you are looking for an easy game to complete then maybe this one is not for you as we have not managed to do this yet in the past two weeks as we keep stumbling at certain parts. Not to say you may not find it easier than us but we thought you should be aware this game is really for the hardcore gamers out there.

Well we have to say Mysteries of Magic Island is well worth all the hype that has surrounded the game as right from the first moment we played the game we found it to be completely revolutionary in every way possible and more importantly great fun. The plot of the game is that there is a magical island in the middle of the ocean and on this island is the award winning school for magic where you play a character who is due to complete their final test before being a fully qualified magician.

Players must help their character graduate from the school by completing the tasks entailed in the test to the best of their ability.
